Dr. Uzma Mushtaque is the founder of EdifyTek and a professor at the Department of Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. She earned her PhD degree in Decision Sciences and Engineering Systems from RPI (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute) Troy, NY. She is passionate about teaching and working on challenging problems in the field of statistical (and machine) learning and data analytics. Her PhD and Postdoctoral research find direct application in online retail and subscription entertainment platforms like Amazon and Netflix. Her experience in computer science, statistics/machine learning, operations research, optimization, and simulation has equipped her with in-depth clarity required to apply these skills to real world problems. She has been teaching courses like Python Programming, Discrete Math and Machine Learning at RPI for over 2 years. These courses have class sizes usually greater than 200 students.
